Mind

Core Principle

The mind is the mechanical comparative function of the form. Its natural role is observational: it measures the differences between consistent internal signals (Definition) and variable external inputs (Openness) to build awareness by recognizing contrast.

The mind does not generate decisions mechanically. Correctly operating, it functions as an Outer Authority: a source of differentiated perspective for others, not a decision-maker for the self. The mind is neutral; its comparative function is essential to systemic evolution and mutation. Its distortion under conditioning creates the Not-Self Mind.
