Gates

Gates are fixed mechanical points located on the perimeter of Centers in The Bodygraph. Each of the 64 gates corresponds to one of the 64 hexagrams of the I’Ching and samples a specific mechanical potential. Gates act as structural nodes or switchpoints where pressure can initiate specific pathways.

An Activation in a hexagram on The Rave Mandala is transposed to the corresponding gate on the Bodygraph.

Key Gate Relationships:

• Harmonic Gate: The gate at the opposite end of a potential Channel. When both harmonic gates are activated, the channel is defined.
• Polarity / Opposition: The gate directly across the wheel in The Rave Mandala. When the Sun activates one gate, the Earth activates its polarity, creating the primary conditioning axis.

Gates do not symbolize ideas. They are mechanical junctions where form samples and organizes environmental information.
