Not-Self
The not-self is the mechanical distortion pattern that arises when external conditioning overrides the form’s internal Authority and Strategy. It reflects not moral failure but systemic survival adaptations built into Openness under pressure. Its specific behavioral manifestation is the Not-Self Theme.
Not-self behaviors are mechanical flags showing where external pressure has reshaped the form’s habitual operations. The task is not to eradicate the not-self but to recognize its mechanical operation without judgment, using it as a map back toward Correctness. Judging the not-self is itself a not-self response.
The term also applies to any human being making decisions based on the authority of mind.
